The spool response from this kit is unreal for the type of power it's laying down.

Still trying to phathom how they can drain to the bottom of the pan and other turbos can't. Kinda blows the whole "gotta tap the girdle" argument out of the water.

I've been thinking about that all morning. Didn't some people blow turbos draining that way?

Yep. There is also a group of guys that say draining to the top of the pan is not a good idea.

Guess all we can do is wait and see what SOS says. Their track car is running the same drain I would assume. Must be working if the production kit is running this setup.

i think this is one of the moments where theory gets trumped by real world experience. while it looks ghetto to the untrained individual, there really isnt nearly as much oil in the pan when the car heats up. i think everyone misses that part. i have always read about people saying girdle, and that tapping the pan is crazy. well my pan is tapped, never an issue. SOS has raped that car with the drain bolt being used, and its fine.

ehhh, the only blown turbo issues i remember is people not using the right restrictor on the feed side.
