Unstopable Silver Bullet
So After about almost 6 months of hard work....Myself & Mike@Autowave... Developed... This.....Creature...

Fully Rebuilt motor....
CP Pistons
Dan Benson Sleeves
Carrilo Rods
Head Stut Kit
Resurfaced cylinder heads, Detailed Crankshaft
Best of all..... Built by Autowave

Stage 4 Competition Clutch

Before.....

After...
1000cc Bosche Saturated Injectors
Koyo Radiator
Custom built Intake with an incredible Filter
Crank Case breather/oil catch can, custom welded lines into Valve cover
Relocated Batter and control box AND Oil filter
Invidia V4 Exhaust <<<< Seriously this thing is as quiet as a pin dropping. But the sad part about it is that its causing a slight boost creep and since its only 70mm i'm losing alot of power :-(
Custom Weld into intake piping for a Methanol sprayed injection.
Everything else CUSTOM!!!

soo shinny

Tuned..... BY AUTOWAVE!!!!!!!
Low boost... 12lbs.. This is my drive around town.."fun boost" i might say haha
High boost at 18-19lbs. Its reallly like 18.5 but i say in the middle. Once again... My exhaust is killing me!
-The little bump in power that looks like a little upward dip is the turbo spooling up soo quickly that the waste gate needs almost a good instant to open up to release that extra air...(this is an issue because of the restricting exhaust, a good 3-inch would solve this creep issue instantly)
This High-Boost is like a 100shot of nos
Godlike power with a screaming red line of 9600rpms
Pump Gas 91 BABY!!
OKAY!!!!! MY REVIEW!!!
hahaha YES!!!!!!!! turbo is sooo much more fun then s/c. BY FAR!!!!!!! What other people have said about this specific GT35R turbo, i Would agree that it is the best turbo for this car... It works perfectly the way the power band is designed and I get my noticable rush of power after 3500rpms. its like that beautiful kick of a stock vtec at 6k rpms except it hits hard after 4k and continues climbing all the way to redline.
For how big the turbo is... if i floor it at like......2300rpms ill still get almost 2lbs of boost until 3000rpms then it will slowly build then Shoot up like a rocket after 3700rpms. If i had a bigger exhaust it would spool slightly faster to achieve max boost sooner, but spools pretty quick non the less when compared to a s/c
When comparing this set up to a supercharger it is almost a joke. The turbo generates much more power sooner, after 4k rpms i'm taking off soo fast it would take someone with a s/c to be at 8k rpms to keep up with the acceleration.
trust me... i know. I have driven both S/C with 15lbs of boost and now this Turbo Machine. Low boost of 12lbs i'm making almost 40hp more then i was with 15lbs with the Supercharger.
The Motor sounds like a quiet angel purring at the clicking sounds of the large injectors, this exhaust just adds more to the silent death that awaits other people who feel like racing an s2k thinking about a quick win... WRONG Muahahha
Okay........ NOW FOR SOME BAD NEWS.... (everyone needs to know this about full-race before they consider buying there "kit") this is the only part of the entire build that gave us trouble and extra $$$ and time.
This Full Race "Kit" Is missing important information about there So-Called Completed Kit. .
1) No Intake or filter! (expect us to leave the turbo to breathe just as is?)
2) The Down-pipe Doesn't fit into the stock Cat or anything down below... You have to weld and customize your own pipes leading to the exhaust.
3) the wastegate has no piping connected to anything, if left alone it would just blow hot air into your engine bay.
4) The pipes for the intercooler came in 3 different colors. For a kit that costs SIX GRAND... They should have at least given me pipes that were one color.... but I guess it just one more reason to powder coat it a different color.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
It would have been nice for Full-Race to mention on there website that there are are several additional things that need to be done before buying this "completed kit"
----These where the only parts of the kit that were upsetting. It was 6k + about 1-2k just to have it completed in labor/ all the welding needed/additional pipes.
But besides all those Cons Aside... Everything runs great... Cannot be any happier and SERIOUSLY.......... I really really should have just gone with a turbo in the first place hahaha.
The sound of this turbo spooling is just orgasmic, it sounds like a throaty deep deep breathe then Screaming out at 19lbs of boost. The whistle is like eeeeeeeeeeee like a loud s/c whine but only better :-D

interesting...pretty good write up. A few flaws of the full race kit shown...Although you made great numbers, they seem fairly low for your motor/turbo setup...especially since you are on a dyno dynamics. Im sure it still pulls like an animal though!
Nice setup, your bay is very clean.
