i know boosted s2k's can be quick but i never really got a grasp as to how quick they really are from a roll since they lack the TQ to get it moving.

When you rebuild the motor like this, it is like a whole new motor right? In other words, it doesn't matter if you took a new engine and rebuilt it, or took one with say 50,000 miles on and did this, correct? Both are "new"?

interesting...pretty good write up. A few flaws of the full race kit shown...Although you made great numbers, they seem fairly low for your motor/turbo setup...especially since you are on a dyno dynamics. Im sure it still pulls like an animal though!

Nice setup, your bay is very clean.

The exhaust is killing me on making more power... Thats why the dip at the end isn't going up :-( But non-the less this car is scary to drive under highboost haha

why are the numbers low? hes on a low reading dyno with a restrictive exhaust. His powerband looks amazing to me. Throw that on a dynojet and it would be at 550whp easily.
jeez if i was on a dynapack i'd be over 600 I had a goal of hitting 500hp on This Specific Dyno Dynamics dyno because of how low it reads.

YOURS WERE ALL BLACK!?!?!? LUCKY!! seriously... when mine came in they were 3 different shades of grayish/silver. it looked pretty cheezy. It had like a polished silver... a sanded down silver and a dark grey shade.

the motor was my original stock block... The motor had 52k miles on it.

The Compression Ration is 9:1 with the CP pistons too.

I always wanted to rebuild my motor so it could prevent further problems from happening with the car. the reliability encase the turbo decides to over boost haha. From what Autowave told me is that the motor was rated and designed to hold 800whp. The turbo maxes out at 650whp... As long as it doesn't run lean i can take everything the turbo can throw at me

I agree with you, almost my entire Full-Race kit has been modified to look some what decent. We made a 3" Exhaust, a long extended dump tube, and re-did some of the intercooler piping. After everything, we ended up making 340whp @ 8 psi. I'm looking to turn it up to 10-12 psi and hope for the same numbers your making now.

Great setup! I cant wait to see what else you do to the car.

***Forgot, I'm running a 2mm headgasket. I've run out of funds to build the motor, so we're trying to tune this to last as long as possible***
