Upgraded pcv for Ap2 valve cover?

Ohhh, ok. Good thing you posted a pic then

Did you hollow out the oem pcv, or just leave it in tact?

Also are you using a 3rd party valve, or genuine Toyota?

Have you made/bought a boost leak tester and checked all of your couplings? I can't remember your mods. If you have a lot if upgrades, your boost will be lower than a fully stock setup like mine.

Ours aren't designed to withstand positive manifold pressure, allowing them to leak pressure into the crank case, which in theory will rob some power.
Basically you can pressurize the crankcase with the stock PCV. This can rob some power as well as cause things like the dipstick to pop out and potentially cause blowby. For <$20 I figured it was cheap insurance.

Yes I have made a boost leak detector. I have used it to find and fix several small leaks. My car is stock except for a TP. I also have a catch can connected to the valve cover vent. The catch can is vented to atmosphere through a small filter.

Lol yea the pic helps .. ill post a close up of that tube tomorrow so maybe you can see through it lol..Left stock intact and got a supra pcv from autozone
