I'm in the process of setting up a v-mount with a greddy intercooler. Already have it partially mounted. Pics are in the gallery.

 

I am running a vmount setup on my S, custom endtanks on intercooler and I picked up a 26"x17"x2.5" thick v8 radiator brand new off ebay for $71 shipped, welded a 1" tube coming off the side endtank for the inlet. Works great so far

I ran a koyo radiator last year with the top and bottom endtank until i pulled up on the car trailer after the track and smashed it in,but I paid 500 for the koyo plus time and welding...

 

how much would the fabrication and piping etc cost for a v mount? excluding of cost of the intercooler and radiator

 

thats really hard to guess. Every fabricator is going to have there own rate and they normally charge by the hour plus materials.

 

until someone makes a v mount kit at a set price no one can awnser that question, its gonna be custom

ive called aspec tuning a while back.. they say theres not enough demand for their kits so they stop making them

would the v mount be the best thing for a mostly DD especially in hot summer weather and sometimes tracking?
