Vacuum line question for wastegate
I'm installing my Golden Eagle Vacuum block and had some questions about the wastegate/boost solenoid vacuum line routing. My question is: Can I skip the "tee" fitting to clean it up some and utilize my vacuum block instead?
This is what Tial says the install is:

This is how I've set it up so far:

Not correct
Both have basically the same source. Both setups will see the same vacuum /boost with very little , if any, difference (due to very extremely low pressure difference due to the extra routing and longer hose - perhaps even none!)
Except the fact that the throttle butterfly valve is in between and that's not recommended
In some setups, you will see the line go from the turbo compressor housing (or very close to the turbo outlet) to one of the EWG ports and the boost controller solenoid as boost will be seen there a few milliseconds sooner than at the intake manifold/ before throttle body inlet. The pressure provided is used by the solenoid to open/colse the waste gate.
But if you are looking to minimize hoses and going for the "cleaner" look, then your vacuum distribution block source will work as well. It's all in the same circuit, just different point source.
YOU DO WANT TO MAKE SURE YOUR VACUUM LINE TO THE EBC / WASTEGATE IS SOURCED BETWEEN TURBO COMPRESSOR AND BEFORE THE THROTTLE !
