Is this valve float?
moving the map sensor with the supplied fitting will hide the boost from the ECU.
the thought of a slipping clutch didnt even occur to me until revenge mentioned it. thats probably the best answer yet. are you on a stock clutch?

that's new to meIs there some sort of restrictor in that Greddy tube connecting the manifold to the MAP sensor?
If this is the case then we should put the map sensor back to where it was because we want the AEM 1052 to see the boost.
While we are on the topic of MAP sensor, could we be seeing the usual OEM MAP failure where the fix is a new map sensor or the screw driver tap trick? Also the stock MAP sensor only read up to 11-13psi. Some of you guys had the boost creep to 15psi. How does the car behave at that boost with the AEM?
It's hard to second guess what's going on while I am working interstate. Thanks for all the ideas guys. What else could you guys think of?
The car is still on stock clutch. I raised that issue of clutch slip to the tuner but he said from the sound of the engine, it's the engine not making power rather than a clutch slip.
Hmm it might be worthwhile to get a 2 Bar GM map sensor for a trial. It's cheap and measure higher boost. We have plan to use run higher boost and better fuel on this car when it's done.

sounds like your getting some kind of backpressure
with the stock psi and exhaust don't expect much over 250-260 on an ap1 and around 280-300 with exhaust and increasing the boost with other supporting mods

So that's only 50-60hp gain with the stock exhaust?

Thanks for the suggestion Revenge.

The MAP relocator doesn't hide boost from the ecu. The map clamp in the software does. The relocator slows down the boost changes to give the ecu time to catch up, and to remove smaller spikes.

No reason to be at 12:5 AFR's at full throttle on pump gas, your just asking for trouble.

Just j/k we get 98 and 100 octane rating in our fuel. Our octane rating is also more knock resistant than the RON system over in the US. Having said that all of my cars' AF ratio are in the 11 from this same tuner. He's conservative.
Anyway I got a call this morning and somehow everything just worked on the dyno today. Nothing was changed since yesterday. Very weird. Here is the result after some more tuning

Not bad for some preliminary result. The mainline dyno usually reads less than the dyno dynamic. The torque is almost double at low rpm even with that fairly lazy boost curve. There will be more gain with a boost controller and high flow exhaust

I don't think the exhaust will rob 90+ hp. The tuner even took the exhaust off and didn't gain much. The Emanage was only used to double check if it's a tuning issue or mechanical issue.
Is there anything else guys?

Check all your connections and the Map sensor like others have said.
