Yes.

Rev makes a dual valve spring that I have used up to 525 whp without any problems.

You need valve springs, but the stock ones will do fine.

Hilarious.

I used stock exhaust valves at 559 rear wheel @ 23 psi, and stock intake valves on both the exhaust and intake side. I am now running dual valve springs.

If your not changing the lift or duration of the cams and your not raising your red line then you dont really need to change your valve springs, so far as I understand.

AEBS said that valves with stock springs will float at greater than 18 psi . As a result, they upgraded my valves to the dual rate springs last year. Apparently, Chris (cjb80) didn't have any problems at 23 psi, but I'm not sure how many hours he put on those springs. As the springs lose some compression, there might be a greater chance of collision with the pistons at high boost. Before the dual rate springs were available, some engine builders substituted the stiffer exhaust valve springs on the intake side.

What are the problems with stiffer valve springs?

how much boost are you running atm yakrat?
have you found a solution to your traction problem yet?

I am running around 16-18psi at the moment and wheel traction is also a problem at high rpm even in my 255/35/18 SO3. The s2k is insane with the turbo.

I am running 22 psi on the track.

The traction is better on R compounds. I haven't mounted my 18" wheels yet. I plan on putting RA-1's on them.

The power is great (330 wheel torque at 22 psi). The stock S02's do break lose in 4th at 22 psi. I generally run the car at about 18 psi. I feel that the ATS differential has improved the traction some.
