Default Vented Hood or CAI?

I have installed the SOS stage 2 kit and wondered what would best benefit me..

There's obviously no heatshield around the air filter on the SOS and figured It would be nice to have a vented hood ( I'd hate to cut my only hood) and then I could also run an intake behind the front bumper on the pass side. ( Would I have to purchase slim fans to make it fit?)

99SH gave me a lot of good info on his cold air setup when I was looking into doing one. Slim fans will make it a lot easier to squeeze an air tube down into the area in front of the bumper on the passenger side. I believe he actually used the flexible tube material that guys use for brake ducts; its orange in color and ribbed (for her pleasure). I can't remember what diameter he ended up using, possibly 3.5". I would either PM him or point him to this thread. I'll try to find the info he sent my way.
