Default ?Vortec timing controller voltage output?

I was wondering if anyone knows what the Vortec timing controller output sensor voltages are supposed to be.
I am trying to diagnose a no start on Vortec supercharger.
The wires are all hooked up correctly. I have continuity in between all of the connections. The car runs when it is hooked up to the factory wires.
It is not getting any CKP, TDC1, or TDC2 signals from the controller.
There is voltage from the controller, I think it is to much >7-4volts to the blue
9.6-7v to the green, and 7.2-5v to the yellow.

Any help is appreciated.

Bump for a great guy/mechanic.

A little more info: Cesar is the lead mechanic and aspiring S2000 owner at our local Dealer (Earnhardt Honda). They are great and always go the extra mile for us so if anybody can help him out I know it will be greatly appreciated. He is installing a used kit for one of our club members and has put in a lot of personal time piecing it together because of missing hardware from the previous owner. It looks as though he is almost finished so anybody with the means please take the time to hook a brother up.

Maybe post on one of the Vortech forums? I would say ring / email Vortech themselves but they are fairly useless at customer support in my experience....

The Stock CKP and TDC signals pass though the controller, untill boost is applied to the controllers internal map sensor. You should have identical sensor inputs to the PCM, with a functioning controller.

My $$ is on a bad controller, as long as your connections are correct. Do not use the written directions with the Vortech instructions, they are wrong. Only use the wiring diagram from vortech , it is correct.

I know for a fact if the TDC/CKP connections are not correct the car will not start.

Do you have any DTC's present when trying to start the car with the controller?

I'd look for a used controller, or you can source a FTC1 from Split Second. I've got a copy of the stock Vortech timing map, but it's currently stuck on my dead laptop. Programming the controller is pretty easy with the R4 software from Split Second.

Cesar wired according to the diagram, and tripled checked it. I just checked it again and it looks right. Still will not start.

The guy from the forum I bought it from swears the controller worked when he had it uninstalled, and he has been very cool about the whole sale. I have talked to him on the phone, and he even sprung for the pulley kit(385) because his installer left his crank+damper pulley on his car.

Have sent an email to Vortech, they reopen on Monday so will try to call then as well.

Plan B, in case it is the controller should I get it from Vortech (1000) or get a stand alone EMS? Or can the controller be reprogrammed and/or fixed? Or does someone know someone who has a controller for sale after they went to a stand alone EMS?

Thanks for all the help.
Ben
Hi there Ben, howzit going? I'm in the process of installing my vortec S/C. I'm using RC injectors and AEM EMS. I have no use for the FMU or the black boxes, you just may be in luck electronics are still brand new in original packaging. Let me know if I can be of any help.

Jeff

Happy New Year!
