true but i think thats alot of power to just offer off the bat. why start with more when your competition isnt much better?
Their competition is KW, which with a You Tune Kit can put down 380 whp and 240 wtq, which the VT cannot seem to do at the moment.

The advertised 365 hp is at the crank, which equals about 325 whp.

true but someone will get a more aggressive tune with the youtune and end up boosting more.

anyhow what size/brand injectors would someone recommend for the tuner kit?

I think most have been running 650s for around the whp mentioned above or at least that's what I've been seeig people running.

Most people that can afford to drop 4K-3,800 don't have a problem spending an additional 80-60 bucks on a pulley. Sure it would be more convenient for the end user but less of a liability for the manufacturer if someone pops a motor.

Plus most people that buy tuner kits have headers, test pipe, ported heads, etc...and depending on the mods one motor may make 10 PSI with a 4.10" pulley for example and another may only make 7-8 PSI with the same pulley.

Well of course it all depends on the breatheing efficiency of the motor... so then at that point it becomes more of a matter of CFM rather than PSI.

I wouldn't really say that most Tuner Kits are to people that have a bunch of mods but I think most are to the ones that would much rather have their car customed tuned rather than a general tune (usually meaning really rich).

That's a good deal and you can request the V3 Sci-Trim for the same price.

The description is kinda wrong though, CARB approval does not apply for tuner kits.
Have you called them and asked for the V3 at the same price?

You can get the same whp with a smaller 10psi pulley. The whp you are quoting is for 7psi which is their stock kit. Everyone seems to forget that the KW standard low boost kit, is just like the comptech kit at approx 5psi puts the same 300whp as the comptech kit. Vortech was always a little higher because their psi was higher.

The you tune kit just like the kraftwerks kit means you provide the fuel pump, injectors, and tuning so with the smaller pulley and a tune you are at KW whp. For this price, it is a no brainer.

im leaning towards this because ti seems a bit cheaper. also its upgradeable. that was the big kicker. Because from what i understand KW isnt upgradeable unless you buy a new blower correct?
