Default Vortech aftercooler capacity?

What is the approximate coolant capacity of a vortech aftercooler? I'd like to pick up some Honda premix and change out the fluid.

Also, is it possible to drain it without removing the bumper? It looks like I'll need to pull one of the lower hoses.

^i read that people have better temp results with distilled water and Redline water wetter. since it doesnt mix with your engine/rad coolant, why not, ya know?

This is exactly what I am doing. When I installed my radiator, I figured I should flush the aftercooling system.

About a gallon and some water wetter later, my cruising IAT's have dropped about 10 degrees depending on outside temperature.

For the engine coolant perhaps, since water wetter reduces heat spots around the cylinders. However i have more doubts if water wetter actually works, I've heard from many sources it doesn't and TBH i can imagine it doing jack shit in the aftercooler TBH.

It gets freeze your nuts off cold here. I'm going with Honda motorcycle premix.

Anyone know the capacity or best way to drain the thing?

The capacity is less than 2 gallons.

It's a mess and this would be a good time to insert a positive locking valve to drain the system.
In the future it could make the system flush much easier.

There tends to be problem with burping the tank adding from just the aftercooler. It can take weeks to get all the air out.

I just did mine recently and filling the water holding tank first makes a big difference. You do have to pull the bumper.
I used a short piece of 3/4 inch hose and a large funnel. When the tank was full I replaced the fill hose/funnel with the permanent hose to the aftercooler and finished the top off at the aftercooler.
