Vortech internal parts
Im trying to buy a replacement impeller shaft for my vortech V2 and vortech wants to charge me 1100 for a major overhaul. I just had the bearings replaced about a week ago. Does anyone here know where i can get internal parts? Is anyone here trying to offload just a blower?
try searching for it here. someone once told me, if they don't have what you're looking for at Mcmaster-carr, it doesn't exist.

You don't need a seal or a bearing, (which can be universal) you need an impeller shaft. Unless you can find a machinist who can copy your old one, Vortech is going to be the source for a new one.
As you already now, they don't sell internal SC parts. They require you to send the blower in for a rebuild.

Guys, thanks for the input. I ended up buying this today and think it might work. Do i need to retune with this? Now i can take my time to rebuild my SC trim and sell it later.
