Default Vortech Questions

Hey I'm trying to figure out which pulley to order for my Vortech V2 kit. I was thinking either the 3.8, 3.9, or 4.0" Pulley. Does anyone know what psi each will give me AND what approximate whp from each? I DO NOT want to overspin the blower, which is why I would imagine people order a 3.9" pulley. Also, are the pulleys made by Vortech ok? I read on here they almost always slip, should I just order from ASP??

Also what are the differences between the "trims" for the Vortech V2? I understand the power differences between the novi 1220 and 1200 for the SOS kits, but I'm not sure what the power limitations are of the vortech kit? I want 400whp and possibility for more...

EDIT: I have an AP1 with F20C

Check out the FI FAQ. Has all the info on vortech pulleys in there on a pulley chart.

Spinning 9000 rpm with a 3.8 inch pulley puts you about 52,000 impeller rpm.

You can work through the various pulley sizes with the Vortech calculator: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...d%20Calculator

Use the V2 calculator.
