Different pulley size, different belt, fpr is adjusted differently. but thats it. ap1 guys like the ap2 kit cause they get more boost out of it.

i already asked comptech all those questions before i decided on my route to go.

supposedly the ap1 kit for the ap1 gets the least power, then the ap2 kit, then the 06+ kit gets slightly more than the ap2 do to the reflash and more accurately dialed in tune.
Great! I suspect that this will be the same with Vortech.

I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to these kinds of things. I know that the 06+ AP2 has drive by wire. Does this effect the install at all on 04-05 AP2's and AP1's?

Okay, I've been on PM with Vortech and it's turning out that I can't really trust them since they're just trying to sell me an AP1 kit. He basically told me that it won't work even though the kits have the EXACT SAME EQUIPMENT (blower, aftercooler, pullies). I Comptech HERE I COME!

So after talking with an engineer at Vortech, he said, "essentially the kits are exactly the same except the kits for an AP2 have an extra injector at the inlet. The mounting brackets are the same and should bolt right up. Just plug off the extra injector hole and you should be good. You'll need an EMS though."

Now that's a quote for the truth. I'm trying to find someone who actually knows S2000 Vortech but it seems that no one does.

AP2 kits will have a smaller pulley so will need an AP1 pulley and belt if you want to run it at the stock 7 lbs of boost. Both should bolt up the same though.
Aftercooler does have the 5th injector. At least the V2 vortech did.
Timing box lists years on it so might be different but I removed all the vortech electronic boxes from my car anyways.
