Default Vortech Whine.

I have an abnormally loud supercharger whine. Can anyone comment on this? I've had this loud whine since I've put the SC on. Has a good 5000 miles on the supercharger and still puts down expected boost.

7psi - 305
9psi - 330

Thanks
-Carlo

p.s. I'll try and get a video of it uploaded ASAP

whine is normal on these types of S/C....BUT....If you can hear the noise from down the street then a bearing is going.

Wow, I hope not. Mine has gotten very loud in the last few weeks. It's so loud people stop and turn around to look from 2 blocks away.

Mine is the same way. People have even said it's the loudest whine they ever heard no a vortech. Maybe our cars are calling for each other? I don't want to go as far as to ask if it's S2000 mating season.

The reason i know this is because my bearing went out before.

Thats because you are always adding new mods and trying new exhausts and all that.
