You need a dyno to change your vtec engagement effectively.

Depending on if it is supercharged or turbocharged, it may benefit you to move the V-tec point. Superchargers do better with the lower V-tec point.

Vtech is a brand of telephone.

The second poster discussing having a dyno run to adjust vtec engagment is fine, as this is what would be needed. My vtec engagement is set right at or near the factory setting 6000rpms. For my setup IP log mani and sc61 with a fairly small hot side was perfect for this engagement. I have an almost linear hp band but runs out of brath around 8800 due to the small hot side housing, but the torque numbers are impressive for me so it running out of breath there doesn't bother me to much.

on my old log manifold vtec was set at 5800 rpms. Now with my tubular one it is set at 4100. All comes down to the efficiency of the manifold and where on the rev range it helps the car make more power. A dyno is definitely needed to get the best idea of where to turn on the hi cam.
