VTSC BOV
So i want to take the filter off cause i heard that will make the BOV louder and i wanna hear it a little better. (rice i know, but f' it, theres a little rice in all of us) NE wayz, I want to turn the BOV so that the filter would face up. If i take the BOV off the aftercooler, will coolant spill out? and will the BOV bolt right back in? It seems to be the same either way. I just dont want to spill out coolant without having some on hand first.
Now that i think of it, there shouldnt be coolant since air flows through it, I am an idiot, But what about the fitment issue?

interesting question
I used to have a vw gti and we would run diverter valves and do the same thing your talking about(flipping it to make it do alil bird chip). I wont sound like a blow off it gives its own distintant sound

well i did it. it sounds louder without being rice. it is a distinct woosh. Not a chirp. No whistle. And only at high rpms during the shift. It was super hard to get to the bolts though!! But it keeps your sleeper status until you really get on it. WOOT!
