Understand. I would NEVER make that call on a device responsible for fuel but it is of course your call. I am not sure how to validate the pump. Sorry I could not help.

I'm sure they are both the right pump, "HP" being the apropriate indicator on the right 255 Walboro, but I would feel much more comfortable dealing with SOS if there are any issues, and the cost is the same so its a no brainer.

?? Im asking if thats the right one stated on Ebay - I never said "please comment on whether you think im cheap or not" - because price has nothing to do with it!!

If you click the link - you will see part numbers associated with it......THATS what im referring to. $96.00 or $150.00, it doesnt matter to me.

But just for argument sake - If it is the right fuel pump.....why not get it? Why would it matter where it comes from as long as its new and the right one?

This is only one website telling about the fake pumps, do your self a favor and find a reputable Canadian dealer.

The pump you need is a GSS342!

As like everyone else is saying you may not get what you thought you paid for. Call SOS and order it from them and have them ship it US Mail. It will be cheaper and you wont get hit with duties and taxes as hard as yo would through UPS using their own broker. Just my .02
