Default wastegate dumptube

i have the inline pro kit and have noticed that my dumptube is rubbing on the frame and i let it go at first but now its getting really annoying. my question is this, can i take off the dumptube and just make a little "dent" in the side of the dumptube to clear the frame? and would this affect the operation of said dumptube?
or would it be a better idea to just "dent" the frame? i am going to be checking and possibly replacing spark plugs tonight, and maybe take care of the dumptube as well. any help would as always be much appreciated.

You can take it off and get a big impact socket and put it on the tube and hit the socket with a hammer. Or you can take it to a shop and have them put a slight bend in it.

Frame denting is the last thing you wanna do, or not do.

I had the same issue. And it was really annoying.

I took it off, cut and welded it and then had it coated.

Works fine now.

You may have broke a hangar. Thats what mine did when I broke mine.

yeah there might be something broken under there but i think it may have more to do with my mid pipe being welded with only rough measurements and just not being in the exact position needed. i am gonna play around with the exhaust sometime but for now i am leaving it as is because its not all that bad. it only happens every once in awhile
