Default Wastegate question?

Im in the middle of doing a turbo build and dont know what bar of pressure i should get for the wastegate wont be running nothing over 20psi and its a twin scroll manifold so I Need 2 wastegates

Wastegates come with different springs that you can combine to reach you desired boost level. If you want to keep target psi the same for every gear then the closer the spring pressure to the target boost pressure the better

So say im going to run 20psi your saying i should get 2 wastegates that are 10psi or 2 that are 20

2 gates with 20psi springs in each one

I would run less spring though and use a wastegate solenoid to control boost pressure past your spring pressure to ensure constant boost levels

I have aem truboost gauge and it came with the boost controller solenoid

It'd be silly to go through the trouble/expense of a twin-scroll setup and then use spring pressure or a manual boost controller to control your boost levels.

Pick the lowest spring pressure you ever plan on running. That's around 7 - 10psi for most people.
