hey guys i only have 70K on my s2000 and the local honda dealer told me that my water pump should last 200K miles. Could my turbo kill it. i only have 1000K FI miles. Its making a strange clicking noise while its ideling. im not comlpetely sure it the water pump but its coming form right where the water pump is. an ideas

Sure its not the TCT that is from the front of the engine.

Timing chain tensioner

 

I asked about that timing chain and they said it should last a lot longer also. its coming from right around the water pump area. how hard is it to change the TCT?

 

I don't see how a water pump could click. When they go bad, they leak, and that's about it.

 

A million miles on the clock, turbo'ed. Now that's Honda reliability.
