Default WB O2 Sensor without pulling the header?

Anyone found a way to add a WB sensor bung without removing the header?

Anyway to mount it on the nose end of the cat?

I did to even though they say it should be closer. Ive compared mine with the dyno shops and it seems dead on.

Why not use a WB in the OEM position and get a WB that outputs Narrow band to the ECU

plx-250 does narrowband as well. I am goin to remove the narrowband and use it to run the closed loop. from what i hear, it actually improves driveblilty... just make sure to use a ground as near to where the sensor does so it sees the same voltage. Also you would need to either keep the plug dangling or put in a resistor to let the ecu know that it has been heated... good luck!

I had mine in the test pipe. Then took teh test pipe off.

So I had it reinstalled in the header rigth before the flange. This was all done at the shop without removing anything.

I went ahead and put it in the nose of the cat-con since I was doing it myself and the car was only on jack stands and I did not want to be welding under the car with only a foot or so of space.

No clearance issues and I think the finished product was clean and neat:

Not boosted yet, just getting ready for it. Guess my MY02 runs a bit on the rich side for being NA still.

IDLE - 14.5
CRUISE @ 55 MPH - 14.5 to 15.2
WOT 3nd Gear 2000-6500 RPM - 11.2
WOT 3nd Gear 6500-9000 RPM - 11.8

That is very tidy!
I thought about trying that
I'm convinced - That's how I'm going to do mine!

I was going to to this, but then I'll need to swap the de-cat for the cat when it comes to the yearly car tests. I didn't want to have to keep swapping other sensors.

Swapped out the one in the end of the manifold and then using the narrowband output to the ECU.

That's what I was planning but I'm not decatting and like the idea of leaving the ECU system as untouched as possible with this SC install
