I was wondering if this would be a good thing to have, or is it really just for the auto-x guys?

Well, it is more for road course crowd, but I will be running one next year as I'm looking to get my car to the track more often. You really need to have the baffle welded correctly to the oil pan, or you run the risk of it breaking off and getting caught in the oil pickup and scouring some bearings.

 

I would be having my tuner weld it in. He built the manifold in my avatar, I think he's capable .......

That's weird ......it shows my sidewinder manifold on my computer. The headliner was my old avatar.
