As for the customer service issues, I am one person, and I can only do my best. I’ve made considerable changes in the way my emails/phone calls have been handled. If ANYONE has any concerns or questions. Please contact me, and I will happily help resolve IMMEDIATELY. I work with so many platforms, unfortunately its led to me not being able to be around to help all the time. I don’t charge for ‘after sale service’ like many companies do. But when I have dozens of emails a day, on top of a very full work load at my shop, or if im traveling with the race team or what ever the situation, sometimes I overlook things. Im only human, and when a communication problem arises, I take care of it the best I can.

As far as all this ‘sharing’ tune issues. This is my stance:
You know how many times Ive seen people rip off my work, and sell it as their own? That irritates me so bad when someone takes the map directly off one car, then sell it for a profit, not even giving me an ounce of credit. This happens all over the world. Until you in that situation you wont know how it is. Or when people have a car tuned by me, then another tuner wants a stab at it, they tweak maybe a couple things, then take all the credit for ‘fully tuning’ the car.

You can sit there and say ohhh every car is different, but people like to use my maps and tweak, not giving an ounce of credit. Sure the fuel and ignition maps might change. But there are so many settings/tables/scalars etc that I have spent a very long time perfecting. You know how many times ive sent out basemaps to people, and guess what, I didn’t charge them, I help when I can. But theres only so much I can do.
Why do you think companies like APR and other big tuning companies spend so much time securing their intellectual property so people have a very hard time stealing their maps?

I’ve never denied anyone from their map, but im certainly not happy when they go distribute it for other peoples benefits. Further, you can easily download your map off the AEM Ecu
And to Qua, Another thing that annoys me, is the mere fact that some people will be fast to talk crap online, but instead of trying to handle it with me. Especially when I asked you, and you didn’t respond. Now tell me how am I suppose to HELP when you don’t give me information? You got my number qua, use it. But don’t sit there and say people are trying to call me. I haven’t gotten a phone call. I don’t hide under a rock. I think you know I don’t either. That’s pretty poor form to say man.

Im sure many people will not agree with some of the things I have to say, and that’s fine, you’re certainly entitled to your own opinion. But instead of hating, and wasting all of our time, contact me directly, and I’ll be happy to resolve any issue. Id rather spend the little time I have free on a Sunday to help answer questions and further the technical knowledge of this forum, rather than battle some kid behind the keyboard that just jumps on the hate wagon because their talking out of their ass.
