Default What could have gone wrong?

Breif summary of the story:

I hit the dyno and my engine was taking some prestone...soon too discover the head-gasket blew on the head side

I finnaly get around too fixing it all up today(Everything done too spec/head was sent out for pressure testing and machined)...But when puting the fluids in (too be more precise prestone) well it leaks inbetween the block and head on the passanger side close too cylinder number 4...

What could have gone wrong?...Theres new oil in + filter + spark plugs

Useless but heres a pic of the set-up...wasnt complete but you get the idea

Oh man! Sorry to hear this. You may have to pull the head and make sure something didnt get lodged between the head and block when you torqued it back down. Sounds like something isnt letting the head fit flat down on the block correctly. Are you using the IP 3mm HG? You can get another OEM HG, pull the rivets and split it. Then pull the rivets off the IP 3mm gasket and remove the old gasket and put the new OEM gasket around the IP 3mm spacer without riveting it back on. Make sure to pull the thin spacer out of the OEM gasket before doing this though. You are basically just replacing that thin OEM spacer with the IP 3mm spacer. This is how IP makes their gasket except they rivet it back together for shipping. You dont have to rivet it though.
