Default What to do?

I have a comptech supercharger on my ap1 and wanted to take the belt of for gas mileage reasons since i am selling it anyways. In order to do this myself what needs to be done. If i take the belt of do i need to mess with the FPR or will it fix itself sorry i may sound retarded but i dont know. Thanks for the help guys.

It's just my guess but I would think since it is a rising rate FPR if it never sees boost anymore it is not going to drastically increase the fuel like it would with the blower attached.

I don't know what ill effects leaving the ESM hooked up are though.

you need to go back to the stock FPR. the comptech FPR is 12:1 where as the stock FPR is 1:1.

Just take off the belt. That is all.

The RRFPR doesn't come into effect because it is boost driven and you won't be seeing boost.

Nor does the ESM have any effect. It's job is to hide boost from the ECU. Once again, no boost, no problem.

loosen the tensioner pulley bracket and gently pry the belt off of the crank pulley

Or just cut it off if you want to do things quick and easy. Why torture yourself. Belts cost $20
