For the most bang for the buck and $4 in mind. Keep your motor and pick up a used SC kit.

Totally agree.. To be quite honest it all adds up believe me!! What starts out to be 4k turns into 10+k really quickly

To build and turbo an F22 looking at like 10 grand at least most likely..
Get a used supercharger, aem ems, ID injectors, wideband, clutch and a tune. Looking at more like 5-6 grand though. Can get around 400whp at 12 psi sc'd.

Realize this; when building a project, you can project 5k. It will be at least 1.5x's the price you chose if not more. Stuff will break, not work out...... Be prepared for it. You can buy used kits and what not to save on costs. I bought a used SOS kit for 3k. I am going to buy a brand new AEM EMS series 2 for $1200, ID 1000 cc injectors $500'ish, smaller pulley $100 ish (not too sure) for about 9 lbs, tune by Mase engineering $400'ish. That is $5200 right there. That doesn't include the fuel pump, flywheel, and clutch kit that I already bought. I am expecting stuff to not work right, but hoping for the best. Just be prepared for anything. I should hopefully be producing 330-360 HP.

Long after price is forgotten, quality is remembered. Just something to keep in mind.

You can have Power, reliability, or cheap price. You can choose two of the 3, which ones do you want?

I agree for the most part, but knowing where to spend the money is a big deal, most of us don't have money to waste. Admittedly I do rather enjoy seeing guys who have spent twice as much money as me on full engine management, big exhaust, expensive header etc....to then see that I’m making the same ...but usually more power then them …and without the headaches of more complicated aftermarket systems that they have no clue how to deal with when something goes amiss, and no matter how much money you spend they always do, its just the nature of FI modifications. You can’t beat Honda reliability plain and simple ….so utilizing as much of these factory components in the set up is my philosophy. And I say if you can't work on it or tune it yourself then expect to get raped.... and make sure you have AAA.
