S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

What does 300 or 400whp feel like?

I'm not sure about these other guys, but when i was running stock boost, i could definitely feel the difference between my car and a stock s2k. huge difference at that too...just go out to a meet in your local forum and ask someone who has a S/C for a ride.

ps I've been in three Vortech s2k's and they all felt just as fast as mine. been in one comptech s2k and it felt just like a stock s2k.

Thanks for all your input guys. I mean I like the idea of a supercharger b/c from what I've read. But a turbo seems so much more interesting b/c of the power down low.

Hopefully this kraftwerks will turn out to be great...

Ive installed 2 ap1 vortech kits and 1 ap2 vortech kit. There is a HUGE difference in performance!! How some people say otherwise is beyond me. All 3 cars made 300 whp and above(mine made the most at 317whp ). I work at a honda dealer and drive more s2ks than the average joe . After driving a sc s2k the na version feels SLOOOOOOOWWW!!!! With the supercharger its all topend power but it still feels very fast!

Hey joe, how many psi are you running? I'm currently weighing out my options for FI and don't really want to dump 11K into an inline pro kit. My power goals really aren't as high as the inline pro kit either. I would be happy with 300's. I dunno about the vortech but with an aftercooled cpmptech with godzilla bov, 10lb pulley, injectors and E-Manage Ultimate people are putting down mid 300's. Have you modded your vortech unit at all?

Im running a stock vortech 7-7.5 psi . The car is completely stock other than the clutch and a vafc2 to add some fuel. As for the comptech option i have not driven a comptech car but i imagine its very close to a vortech version.

the Comptech kit comes stock with 5psi..I've driven a members Comptech'ed S and it didn't "FEEL" as fast as my Vortech. kinda felt closer to a stock S.

btw this was an 04 car just like mine...if it makes any difference.

Mine is an AP2 with a Comptech at 5.5 lb of boost. 307.8 at the wheels. Nobody has ridden in it that didn't say "Holy sh!t, I want one". With cold tires and cold pavement (50 degrees or less), I can ease it up to 3000 rpm, stomp the gas and spin the tires through first and second gear. I use a shift beeper that beeps at 7700, 7800, & 7900. In first it just sounds like one beep because it is spinning up so fast. I'd offer a ride but I just sold it so I can get the Kraftwerks 400 hp set up.

Thanks for the info. I just may go SC instead of turbo. Seams to be more turn key than anything else that is still affordable.

If you use all the stock FMU, electronics, etc. it feels stock, until you look at the speedo and realize you're at 100mph.

I say do it.
