S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

What does 300 or 400whp feel like?

sc'er only make high peak hp because thats where you see the boost at... redline. I used to have a comptech kit which probably explains why it didn't feel any different and i had 4.77's. Turbo just gives you full on boost early and makes the torque. I put a custom kit together for 2200 dollars w/o EMS. I don't see why people think going turbo is so expensive i think its cheaper than a supercharger if you know what your doing. Whats important is what size turbo you get.

I've driven a 420whp S2000 on an autocross course and it felt nuts. With R compounds and coilovers it felt like a rocket coming out of corners on boost. Heading into an offset/slalom with your foot down you have to tell yourself to turn way before you get to the element and everything looks like a blur. I drive a Lotus Elise which has respectable acceleration but a 400+ whp S2000 is in another league. If you can afford it I would definitely go for it.

I know I'll get flamed for saying this, but w/e its my opinion. I've driven in a SC s2000 and to be honest it didn't feel any faster. Now, I have no doubt it WAS indeed faster but with the lack of torque they made it feel the same as a stock one. This was a vortech s2000 and yes the blower was working fine.
with this as well. i drove my friend's Comptech SC'ed (non aftercooled) on 7psi of boost (higher than stock boost) and it felt like nothing. if i wasn't looking at the speedo, i'd think i was driving a stock s2k. so it is faster, but you're asking if it FEELS faster, and the CTSC on 7psi did not.

i haven't read all the posts yet, but i've driven a bolt-on VTSC ap1, which makes around 280-near 300whp i think

power delivery feels pretty much exactly the same as stock, but after vtec it pulls a lot harder, esp. 7-9rpm

I'd say it's all in the tune...when my car was at 300 with a bad tune it didn't feel much faster than stock...sometimes even slower...once tuned it was a whole new car. Now at 400+ well forget about it
