Default What is largest pulley/psi you can run...

Did the search function, no definitive answer so I turn to a new thread...

I have the Comptech S/C with stock pulley and aftercooler.

I was wondering what size pulley/psi I could run on this setup without having to go to engine management/tuning? And if I were to do this, would it be safe for my engine or would I be running to lean?

So if you guys have any experience or read/heard anything please let me know! I would like to break the 300 rwhp marker.

Thanks in advance guys!

other then running stock boost you'll need to get some type of engine management.

you can do 7 psi without any engine management, just need to get the FMU tuned.

stock pulley for ap1 is 4.6 i think. you could run a 4.0 no problem, making AROUND 7 psi (could be 6.5 or 7.5 who it always depends, i got a 3.875 because it makes 9psi for most people, im making 11psi at 9000 now however. Just save up and go a little higher in boost with ems eventually, you are going to likley do it anyways, this way you will save money and dyno time by doing it all at once.
