What is needed to change hot side of turbo kit
Hi All,
I currently have a stock greddy turbo kit and am looking to switch out the hot side to a Mase manifold/downpipe combo. I am looking into purchasing a precision 5858 or 6262(opinions on this greatly appreciated) and a tial 44mm wastegate. I am aware I will have to do some modifications to the charge pipes.
My question is, is there a problem if I reuse the oil lines from the greddy kit? I am not even sure what size they are but I am worried about restrictors and such. Will it fit?
Also, is a gasket needed from the turbo mounted to the manifold? What type of studs should I get for this connection?
And to those that have or are running the Mase manifold. I am planning to take off my oil filter relocation and run the oil filter straight off the block as stock. How do you guys usually do your oil changes? From the bottom I supposed?
Like others, I am tired of the Greddy Kit and am ready for something bigger over the winter!
Thanks!

You are probably better off selling the greddy kit as a whole and buying a new or used turbo kit. You could also piece together a kit. Trying to sell just the hot side of your greddy kit would be difficult, unless you are not worried about making money off of it.
