Default What oil weight with a s/c

I know a lot people switch to a 5w40 with turbo setups.

Since we dont run off the exhaust housing Ive been running 10w30 castrol edge titanium. Just curious to see what others run

I get zero oil burn until about 4000 miles. As soon as i see a little drop on the dipstick i change the oil. I dont road race or do anything other than take the car out on a nice day or the occasional spirited drive.

I run Amsoil 5w40 regularly with my CT kit, 13 PSI. I currently have a fill of Mobil 1 5w30 in there as a cleaner fill because my last fill got fuel washed. Once I find the time to drain it the 5w40 will go back in.

I run Amsoil 10w30 but I'm sure you can run others and be just fine. Mobil 1 and E85 wasn't working too well (past 1000miles) for me so I switched.

I ran Amsoil 10w40, but now switching to Amsoil 5w40...turbo. I used to run Royal Purple...no problems. I switched to Mobil 1 and this could have been coincidence but 50 miles after the switch my TCT starting ticking.
