Default what size electric cutout?

Instead of finding a good dual exhaust, I am thinking of just putting my stock ap2 exhaust on in conjuction with having an electric cutout. I assume these get welded into the downpipe or test pipe? What size would I get, a 2.5 or 3"? That way I can have it quiet if I am just cruising around and if I want I can have the benefits of running open dp practically.

I would not recommend Electric look into boost actuated. There are several threads on where to mount and details.

I prefer 3" so reason to go with the 2.5" that I can think of.

Is Sound Performance the only one who makes them? I have a E Cutout that I am going to run for now since I already bought it, but SP charges 400 just for the cutout. Thats pretty steep.

did you get it for 400? Also are you running off of the valve or hooking up a boost controller with the hobbs switch?

They don't have the boost cutout. They have the E cutout.
