S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

What specifically breaks in the transmissions?

Looks like heat treating the gears and shift shafts., coupled with studding the diff nets a result of 600+ hp durability. The total cost of heat treating the tranny components and studding a diff is under 2k. Seems like a great solution to the weak points of out S2000s.

Where can I learn about these gear sets and the folks that could help me with them? Are these ap1 or ap2 parts? My boosted car is completely fine right now, but I want to have an upgrade plan that involves the stock transmission. I already have a backup diff

Is it possible to buy used oem parts in good shape, send them to a shop that can harden them?

With the advances in CAD and CNC - can we entice anyone to fabricate billet s2000 transmission cases to go along with the heat treated gears? I know speed factory did a silmiar treatment for the B series transmissions and Drag Cartel made a billet transfer case for the K powered cars. I purposely have my turbo AP2 turned down for the sake of preserving the driveline.

The Quaife sequential honestly sucks to drive on the street even with the helical gears, speaking from personal experience. I really wanted one too but after actually driving one for a while, I changed my mind.

Yes. You can have them cryogenically treated. Then shot peened to harden surface. These 2 treatments can make the gears three times stronger.

cryo and shot peening gears

FWIW, I had the PPD Dogbox and it was awesome, but when I had stock AP2 trans I pre-loaded 1st gear and rolled it off the line at ATCO, I always had my best 60ft times and never really had any Transmission related issues.
