thanks for the help guys, how are these hoosier drag radials in terms of handling and tread wear, bc i'm sure they go great in a straight line

yea but i have 8.5 inch wide rims in the rear, i squeezed a 265 star spec on it, thats what i'm running now, and i thought that was a stretch to fit, i feel like a 275 would be really pinched

nah people run the 275/40/17 MT's on the stock ap2 wheels which are 8.5 with good results

Kings Performance did use the 255/50r16 MT ET street drag radial to run 9's. It's a great tire for drag but any kind of cornering you better hold on tight...
If your doing drag and just want to change wheels for the track get a 15x8 or 15x9 wheel and use a 275/50R15 or 26x10x15
I have a used set of 15x8 prostar exospeed

i want to be able to take some corners too, i think ill buy a set of ap1 rears and get some mt tires for those to use when i go to the track, but for my street set up how do u guys like these, and would this be an issue on the stock ap2 wheel? http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...%2FPerformance
