Default What type of motor oil for S/C?

When I installed my Greddy Turbo Kit, people recommended 10w-40 and to stay away from royal purple. I now have a Comptech supercharger kit about to be completed. I haven't been able to find any recommendations for oils both brand and viscosity.

I use amsoil 5w40. The viscosity of it is very close to 10w30 cold but slightly thinker hot and can withstand higher temps during track events.

Yeah, I was using Amsoil too, but I have to order it online. So looks like most of you use. 40 instead of 30.

I also use amsoil 5w40. Thinner on cold starts to help the oil flow through the SC but thicker in high heat situations (due to having to cool off SC).

I used amsoil 0w-30 per peoples recomendations. That is whats currently in the car. It was like water going in. Bought some amsoil 10w-30 so it should be mo betta. Also droping in some bc cams when I change the oil to 10w30 this weekend. Will be interesting to see how a high psi SC set up responds to them.
