S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

What will it take to run E85?

Id upgrade to a tubular kit and be able to get 450whp on alot less boost. Safer and more reliable

I'm making a little over 370rwhp on a greddy kit with a GT3071R. I don't know how much farther you're going to turn up the boost but you should be fine with ID1000's.

PM PowerofDRM, he recently got tuned on E85 with basically the same setup as you have & made 460whp IIRC
Didn't see any users with that name? Link?
sorry, its pwrofdrm

walbro and pump gas can make about 500-550. walbro and e85 is more like 400-450 max. get the bigger pump, or run dual walbros. you need way more fuel for e85 then pump 93.

and you will def need at least 1000 injectors. and all this assumes stock base fuel pressure. getting an adjustable fpr will help extend the injectors power potential.

but on a log mani id switch to a tubular before i went running e85 on a log setup. you will be way happier in the long run.

Yeah I know. Truthfully it kind of just seems like it would almost be a waste of time though... Maybe 20 more whp out of perfecting this tune or I could (hopefully) just upgrade my injectors, turn up the boost a little bit, put in E85, and potentially add 100+ whp. I just feel like the time tuning would be better spent on E85 than 93 octane.

It's not all about power either. I really like the cooling and more knock resistive properties of E85... Plus I've read that E85 smooths out the power a bit too and makes it slightly more predictable. Thats all pretty desirable.

Is there a downside I'm missing? Why would I stay with 93 if E85 is readily available? I'll always have the 93 tune saved just in case, anyways.

Only downside I can think of is fuel consumption, but E85 is much cheaper so miles/$ stays about the same anyways.

I say go for it. Like spectacle said, you will need at least another pump and bigger injectors. I have a list of the individual parts on my build thread that I had to get in addition to my mase kit to run e85- in case that helps as a reference...

Ah ok. Yeah I'll definitely be sticking with this manifold for awhile. Just made the other thread more out of curiosity and for the distant future.

You really think I'll need another 2 pumps? Like Geo (RealStreet) said, I think I could definitely get there with a 340lph pump.

Yeah, but you had a lot higher goals than I did. I'm not looking to make 700whp. I really don't even want the fuel capability for more than 450-500whp because I don't want to push the limits and potentially break the trans and I certainly don't have the money to upgrade it. This car will be autocrossed, drag raced (dig), and road raced a lot so I need all my gears... especially 2nd.

A single walbro and ID1000's will get your roughly 450whp on E85 and if you add a Bosch inline pump and up the fuel pressure to around 90-100 you can get 580-600whp with E85. If you aren't using an efficient manifold then you might wanna shift these estimates to the left.

Another note - if you are only running a log manifold then it wouldn't be worth running E85 for an extra 30-50whp depending on your setup. Stock HG/log manifold with 93 pump can achieve around 400whp and E85 - 450whp. Add that bosch with E85 and maybe low to mid 500? I've done a little testing with the many setups I used.
