In my old S2000 I had the Alaniz Competition Head Package done :

Competition Head Work

* Complete visual inspection of complete head.
* Check all surfaces for straightness.
* Complete disassembly.
* Inspect all valvetrain parts for wear.
* Remove all studs and lap all surfaces.
* Degrease and clean head of oils.
* Baseline flow bench test.
* Full Competition port and polish head.
* Deshroud, polish and debur all chambers.
* Install oversize seats on intake side.
* Install oversize valves on intake and exhaust.
* Competition valve job.
* Resurface and hand lap head to customer specs, or up to .030 material removal.
* Final flow test with data sheet.
* Reassemble complete head. Final CC check.
* Includes new valve seals.

Titanium Retainers, Bronze Guides, and Inner Spring / Locator Kit added.

Quite a few individuals have experimented with some of the available aftermarket cams - to date not a single one has proven any gains. In fact, they all have shown negative results.

Alaniz was, for quite some time very well known in the S2000 Community as one of the, if not the best head builder! Over time he has sort of died off in the community, not really as well known as he once was. I'm sure he still performs amazing work, however his turn around time and ability to keep in contact with his customers is lacking quite a bit.
