the greddy manifold is designed in such a way that it has a bit of a collector on it and the cylinders don't fire directly at each other, in theory making it better than a standard log manifold.

This pfab manifold looks to have taken a step backwards and now has cylinders 1 and 4 firing directly at each other. I would almost expect this manifold to perform worse.

I wasn't aware there was a flow issue with the greddy manifold, if anything I would think it was the tiny turbo.
I was under this impression also, but then again, I don't make manifolds for a living.

It just didn't seem like it would make a big difference, the only real change seemingly is the elongated runners. Who knows though?

The biggest benefit I could see, would be the ability to run an external waste gate.

talked to my tuner he said the same thing. scratch this idea. when i need more power i'll sell my kit and buy a peakboost. i could use my savings for it but then i don't have savings.

Someone make a bottom mount tubular manifold to replace the greddy one. i realize the turbo is small but i want a small turbo because i want instant boost response and not necessarily big horsepower

why do you feel the need to replace the manifold on the greddy kit? Do you intend to keep the same turbo? A different manifold isn't going magically make that turbo produce more HP, the turbo is pretty much the limiting factor of the greddy kit isn't it?

If you want a little more power the solution is to do one of the turbo upgrades other people have pioneered which allow for a little more top end but still retain the greddy manifold and DP.

i know. gt3071 with an internal wastegate will fit. i thought a better manifold would allow it to make the same power but lower the boost pressure.

i talked to another member with the pfab manifold that said it made a difference.

a gt3071 would do that and it fits your current manifold, lol

Are you saying that the gt3071 can directly replace the turbo that comes with the Greddy kit, with no modifications, other than a tune of course.

The greddy manifold is the worst part of the kit IMO.
The ports are super tiny when I compared it to my inline log.

I think the Tiny runners was used to help increase the spool speed of the tiny turbo.

when do you hit full boost compared to us.

I agree, not a huge fan of the manifold unless your gonna run a t25 type turbo. Anything bigger go up to the T3 and a bigger turbo that can boost higher boost levels.
