Default where to mount boost controller?

Does it matter where the boost controller is mounted? Is it suppose to be within a certain distance from the waste gate?

the closer the better, with out it being in a spot thats too hot. with in a couple feet should be fine.

How did you mount it? Did it come on that "chrome" strip?

Yep, just closest is better. It keeps the boost controller more accurate, the closer you are to the wastegate, just don't want to melt it from heat like Joe @tempest said.
