Who cut their hood?
I saw some of you guys cut your stock hoods to vent some of the heat from the turbo setup.
Did you do it yourself?
How much did it cost?
Any instructions to make clean cuts?
Dimensions?

Everything you need to know can be found in this thread. It's easy to do, and surprisingly fun.

What color is your S2000? I'd happily trade my vented hood for another Silverstone hood that is not vented now that I'm SC'd instead of turbo.
Here's an excerpt from my post in that thread (above):
I used basic hand tools from Home Depot. The Ryobi cordless drill / jigsaw set worked awesome. Just pop a hole using the drill, and then use a 32+ tooth-per-inch jigsaw blade and it cuts through the hood like butter. If you're patient and careful with the jigsaw, you can cut all the corners with it.
I also bought a few rotary sanding bits so I could use the drill to sand down the edges. Just be careful to tape the hood first so you don't scratch it if the drill slips. I'm not that accurate when working with my hands, so I was surprised and pleased with the results.
I also drilled holes in the support bracing and used zip ties to hold in the perforated aluminum. I can just cut the zip ties and pop it out to paint/polish or whatever, then zip tie 'em back in again. This works great - I popped them out and sprayed them with chrome Dupli-Color paint just the other day and then put 'em back in the hood.

I used a dremel with a cutting blade from the underside of the hood ( recommend taking it off ) and used a file to get the rough edges and some 220 sand paper to smooth it out, if you tape it off correctly you can paint JUST the edges you cut and it looks good
