I was, like you worring all day before i got my parts to up the boost..
If i had the resources as you do in the states i wouldnt have tought twice to do it( Tuners, good grade fuels, race ect,)
but i decided to do it anyway,i bought myself a J&S safeguard in case the motor starts to detonate and i dont take my Foot of WOT..
I am running near 15psi and i am in situation where i have no Tuner that understands anything,no real Dyno Tuning done and no one to do the Work around what goes where and i still did it,and i am running 10000miles no problems..
so nothing to worry about if i was on your place.
I had Tuning Help from MASE since he has done many S2000 with Stock CR and high boost.
430hp last time i went on the dyno.

Why don't more people use W/M with SC or turbo at higher psi? Just seems like cheap insurance against detonation to me.

Why don't most people "do it right" the first time instead of cheaping out on parts (and eventually they fail)?

Hey now, I did it right the first time, the METH is "addional" for me, not a bandaid, I am getting it tuned in Nov

You are right, cutting corners with FI is just asking for trouble. I think people have an unrealistic budget in mind. If it is not really required, then they will cut corners to save a buck. This usually ends up costing them more in the long run to fix a problem later down the road.

This should be a required add on for anyone who wants long term reliabilty and safety for their turbo.

I did not know much about W/M injection either Joey until I started reading the FI forums. Thanks for bringing it out in the open with your threads

Whoah there Joey! I think most people running 10+ psi have a stand-alone EMS... I know "stena" does... If you are running E-Ultimate (from the standard Greddy kit), I would be less trusting in its ability to crazy adjustments as consistently. Its still a piggy-back.

hmmmmmm interesting, I guess Ill discus with my tuner, He said I would just need the Greddy MAP and harness, but I wonder what problems I would see with the Ultimate.

Why would the E-Manage Ultimate be ok with 10PSI, but not trustworthy at 12PSI?
