Default Wideband install help

I am going FI and want to put my wideband gauge in before the SC so I can adjust the air/fuel ratio right away. My question is where do I make the hole for the sensor? In the cat? Before the cat? after? Also is there a test pipe I could buy that would have a bung for the sensor so I wouldn't have to make my own in my current exhaust?

Also I have heard to wire the power to the ignition wire. I am wondering as to where I make this connection.

thanks

Although I agree with your post, don't be a complete douche.

Your wideband NEEDS to be BEFORE the cat. I usually put mine 18-22" from the turbo.

Usually I find where the stock o2 sensor was, and put it right before/after.

As for power, just find an accessory wire. Meaning one that is energized w/the key is on and stays constant.

Look up under the drivers side dash where the fuse panel is.

You can ground on the bolt that holds the hood release down there also.

Alright. Is there any particular wire I should connect to or should I just start cutting wires until I find one that works?

Alright. So do I weld the bung at the bottom of the header? The stock O2 sensor is in the cat.

Ill have to look for the diagrams.

I'd weld it into the header. My Berk header comes equipped with an extra bung.

I'm tired of seeing the same threads pop up over and over. I mean, it's right there ^. It's easier to do a search than post up a question. Especially one that is simple.

And I'm always down for helping someone out, but this one was just too simple. I searched the same stuff when I installed mine...
