WideBand or PLX?
Alright I bought a Vortech SC and have bought a new clutch, 9 PSI pulley, spark plugs, RC 550cc injectors and went to purchase a AEM EMS w/ Wideband UEGO and Tom at Gruppe-s told me to purchase the PLX device instead of the WB UEGO. I did a little research and haven't found anything regarding the PLX devices on S2000's and was wondering some of your guys opinions. If your not familiar with them the website is www.plxdevices.com. Thanks in advance

PLX devices is a company that makes Wideband 02 sensors.
AEM makes several UEGO wideband sensors, controllers and gauges.
If you order the 1052U EMS with built in wideband controller, the only thing you'll have to get is the wideband sensor.
I'd see no reason to go with the PLX when the AEM has a built in controller.
S2000 Europe has a PLX, and I believe he's happy with it.

I have some experience with PLX units on a couple of civics. Mine and a buddy's (fellow member: s2kgeek9), while I have had two failures with my M-300 in the last year; s2kgeek9 has had no trouble with his M-250 unit.
I have used mine exclusively with an AEM EMS, while the M-250 has been used with an AEM EMS for some time and with a stock ECU using the narrow band out-put from the controller to fool the ECU. The M-250 is set up with an AutoMeter A/F gauge and has worked well consistently for the past 18 months. I wish I could say the same for the M-300 in my car.
For the money it's hard to beat the Innovative motorsports unit, and I have seen it in a side by side comparison with a Motec PLM; both giving the same readings. My next w/b purchase will be the Innovative unit.
On a side note the guy in the LM-101 video on the Innovative website is also the head instructor from EFI101 . As you may guess he recomends the Innovative LM-1 as well.
Cheers
