Wideband questions on a 1052
Here's my situation:
I was just speaking to the manager of a tuning shop (the tuner was busy) and he he was saying that I should get the aem uego wideband in order to get my car running perfectly.
My question is, is it absolutely necessary to have the uego wideband in to have it run smoothly? He was saying that it will make it easier for cold starts, wideopen throttle, part throttle and idle tuning and make everything much smoother. He also said that it connects directly to the aem ems and they work to help calibrate everything.
Finally, if I chose to install the uego wideband, the current model I have is a 1052 and I don't have the U option, do I have to get the aem or can I wire in a PLX to do all the exact same thing as the aem?

So would the PLX uego wideband connect to the AEM EMS? Also, the guage is not absolutely necessary is it?
I just installed the new UEGO wideband on my car. and i have kpro. its just 3 wires you need to hook up. 12v power, ground, and one wire to the ECU (kpro or aem) very easy. everything else is on the person who tunes your car.
