We have the SE model which has nice Recaros, but the OEM seat rails suck and put the seat up too high. I plan on finding some lower rails which are compatible with these seats.

We installed a Hallman MBC and are boosting 22psi. The car pulls nice, but my S2000 would still but buses on it!
actually this was an SE as well. I really like the package. I know the X is going to be less raw, but my 2000 A4 is getting up there in miles and the X might be a nice replacement. I've done everything to the A4 to make it like the EVO, why not just buy the EVO and tune it with a stock turbo and not deal with the Motronic nightmares.

Thanks! We did some datalogging and the IATs have dropped some. The OEM intake is the issue now in terms of IATs, and we intend on getting an AEM short ram intake.
Wouldn't recommend getting one of the short ram intakes. Most usually end up being more of a hassle and making the car run poorly unless you retune for it. If anything, get a K&N cone filter and adapter and put that on the MAF sensor, or just replace the panel filter in the stock airbox with a K&N. It's cheaper and if you really want to do intake it seems like the best route to go. Do some research on evolutionm.net about intakes. Good luck!

Thanks for your input!

I've done the research, and a buddy of mine with an Evo VIII has the same AEM short ram intake I plan on purchasing. You can plug in the OEM MAF sensor into that setup. This buddy of mine has the ECUFlash program on his laptop and has already done one tune on my wife's Evo. He'll do another tune once this intake is installed, and another when the AMS 3" TBE is installed.

Very nice!

There's just something about a big fat honkin IC on an EVO that just turns my nipples rock hard.
