Talking Wife's new IC and piping

Last week I purchased a Nisei intercooler and piping for my wife's Evo IX. Last night a friend and I installed it and I have to say the Nisei products are high-quality and the IC is HUGE! Here are some pics:

Just wanted to share!

Thanks! We did some datalogging and the IATs have dropped some. The OEM intake is the issue now in terms of IATs, and we intend on getting an AEM short ram intake.

just drove a friends stock IX last night....nice improvement over the 8, but I didn't like how the seat wont lower. The motor just winds up in a flash. I want him to get a tune so I can feel what it can really do.

We have the SE model which has nice Recaros, but the OEM seat rails suck and put the seat up too high. I plan on finding some lower rails which are compatible with these seats.

We installed a Hallman MBC and are boosting 22psi. The car pulls nice, but my S2000 would still but buses on it!

Shoulda gone IP and then you would have never had issues with manifolds cracking or thermal coatings...

Haha...that isn't why my S is on jack stands. Those issues have been resolved. The reason my S is on jack stands is because it doesn't have a rear drivetrain--I sold it and am waiting to purchase the R200 rear conversion kit. I already have an R200 diff. Also, before my S hits the ground again, I will be sending the cylinder head to Laskey Racing for their Stage 3 job.
