Will this efficiently cool 7-8psi?

Who can say from just a picture?

Besides, an intercooler doesn't "make" HP. Comptech supercharger kits have been known to make 300 WHP without an intercooler. It's the blower that "makes" the power. The intercooler only cools the intake charge.

t3/t04e turbo

The PWR Liquid to Air Barrel Intercooler is a world first exclusive in its design for the industry. The Radical cylindrical shape was designed for drag and street applications, providing maximum cooling, airflow and performance efficiencies. The system requires no ambient (external) airflow, which enables the unit to bemounted as close to the manifold as possible, reducing turbo lag and

Which lowers the intake temps, which allows for more timing, which increases the HP. Yes it's a visious circle

Forgot the point of this all....yes it will work, it'd actually be over kill for 7-8psi.

"Sounds" impressive, but I'd like to see some sort of scientific data. Personally, I would prefer this type of water/air intercooler over the front mount since it won't involve quite as much air piping, thus, not losing so much boost. Front mounted air/air intercooler look nice but they've got so much volume to have to keep compressed.
It may be overkill for 8 psi (if data is available to show it's efficacy) but overkill works for me.

Do you have a link? It looks quite interesting.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PWR-LIQUID-...sspagenameZWDVW

I found it on ebay.

it says it flows 390cfm

I would also like something like this for less turbo lag and a stealth look. Also there is so much room in the engine bay with the intake gone, it would fit right there nicely.

http://www.pwr-performance.com/intercooler.htm

Doesn't say much about it, but I've seen an RX-7 running 20+psi on a gt35r with one and the air temps where 40* over ambiant, which is pretty good.
