Default Windshield washer hose melting

I have a problem with my washers hose melting from the heat of the manifold, even though I have protected it with heat protective sleeve like this.

What do you other guys use? Is there other better sleeves that could work? Or will a braided stainless steel hose work better inside the sleeve? Thankful for tips!

Is your manifold heat wrapped? and are you using a turbo blanket?

My manifold is not wrapped, but it's ceramic coated. I also use a turbo blanket.

Interesting. Never had this issue. Some form of wrap/sleeve is probably your best bet.

EDIT: didn't read that you are STILL melting them with sleeves. I'd switch to a hose with a higher temperature rating (same ID) and reuse the sleeves.

I removed my windshield washer bottle/hoses... I just make sure I have a bottle of water under my seat if I'm driving on a crappy day and put my arm out the window and spray the windshield... seriously

Silicone tubing instead of vinyl, at least 250 degrees better
